There is a full-time Residential Lender 1 position available.
We are growing our team of Mortgage Loan Officers and are seeking candidates across multiple locations. This role involves overseeing the entire mortgage lending process from application to closing. The Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for acquiring, developing, and maintaining mortgage loan relationships. The position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service and responsiveness to meet client needs.
- Consults with new and existing customers to assess their loan needs, recommend suitable products, and gather necessary information for loan applications.
- Reviews, analyzes, and monitors loan requests in accordance with financial institution policies and procedures.
- Promotes and refers current and prospective customers to other business lines within Kish.
- Engages with centers of influence for business development and is encouraged to actively participate in non-profit organizations.
- Identifies efficiencies to improve residential loan processing and servicing operations.
- Meets established sales and referral goals
Qualifications
- Knowledge of residential mortgage lending and related processes preferred.
- Leadership skills and aptitude in sales, including the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent written and oral communication, organizational skills, and time management.
- Proficient in Office Suite and standard office equipment.
- NMLS registration required
Note: Candidates not registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry will be registered within 2 weeks of employment.
Physical Demands
- The job is inside office-type work, largely sedentary with moderate standing, walking, reaching, bending, and stooping required.
- Requires the exertion of 10 to 20 pounds occasionally and less than 10 pounds normally.
