What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sushi Chef position at Kissaki?
About the Job Kissaki is seeking experienced Sushi Chef, Nigiri Chef RESPONSIBILITIES: Making sushi daily in front of high-profile guests. Friendly interactions with the guests. Organized and able to work at a high volume level. Prepping fish, maki, sides, sets of miso, edamame and other ingredients/dishes to be used in service. Creating new dishes or preparations for the often-changing menu. Sushi prep: set up sushi bar, take direction from head chef. REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 3 years as a Sushi Chef, Omakase restaurant, Maki, Nigiri or high volume Kitchen preferably at an upscale restaurant Extensive knowledge of Japanese food and culture Proficient in English Advanced knife skills Availability to work nights, weekends & holidays Positive attitude Schedule: 5 days a week Weekends required Day shift Night shift 8 hour shift 10 hour shift Part time availability as well About Kissaki...
