This role will oversee facility recruitment efforts ensuring adherence to stringent credentialing and regulatory requirements. This includes collaborating with department heads, conducting thorough background checks, and managing the entire hiring process. Additionally, the HR Generalist will foster a positive work environment while navigating complex healthcare policies and legal frameworks. They address conflicts, provide guidance on HR protocols, and uphold confidentiality standards vital in healthcare contexts. Other functions include benefit administration, learning and development, payroll, supporting employee engagement management, data entry and filing. This role is responsible to have a broad understanding of HR principles and practices to address various challenges that arise in the workplace. The Human Resources Generalist is expected to be versatile in diverse daily functions of the Human Resources department tasks.

Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Understanding of HR principles, policies, procedures related to recruitment efforts, benefits administration, training and development, HRIS data and management, employment law (ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEOC, HIPAA and OSHA).
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to work independently and be able to work effectively as a team member.
- Must be able to work with frequent interruptions, maintaining a high degree of concentration.
- Possess critical thinking and problem solving to analyze HR issues, develop solutions and make informed decisions.
- Interpersonal skill to build rapport, resolve conflicts and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Commitment to quality control analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to participate and self-educate for job related needs.

- Must be adaptable to change quickly and respond effectively.
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (nice to have).
- 1-year Human Resources experience in Healthcare setting (nice to have).
- Proficiency in HRIS and/or other platforms used within HR department.
- Familiarity with HR compliances, policies, and best practices in healthcare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification, either SHRM-CP or PHR (nice to have).
- Must pass MN background check and finger printing.
- Complete TB test within the first 2 weeks of employment.
