What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Housekeeping position at Kleane Kare?
We are looking for Healthcare Housekeepers to join our team and help keep our facilities clean and organized. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the Hospital, including treatment and exam rooms, labs, admin and reception areas, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces. This position requires an individual with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in healthcare housekeeping or janitorial work.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans all areas of the hospital/care center according to policies and procedures.
- Cleans (dusts, disinfects, restocks, pulls trash, dust mops, mops, vacuums, scrubs, buffs, waxes) and adheres to department and organizational polices. Transports linens and waste streams according to procedure.
- Demonstrates good time management. Maintains responsibility for equipment (keys, beepers, etc.).
- Operates and maintains equipment according to procedure and properly cleans and stores equipment after use. Utilizes signage when any floor maintenance in conducted.
- Trains and instructs new hires and performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have or be capable of acquiring Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Professional (CHESP) Certification, Certified Environmental Service Executive (CESE), Certified Healthcare Environmental Service Technician (CHEST), and/or equivalent. Those with any of these active certifications are eligible for immediate hire.
