POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Event Manager, you will report to the COO andassist with sponsorship and event development for internal and external events.
You will work closely with the marketing and operations department to communicate and promote Burn Boot Camp’s mission and value proposition through events and sponsorships. You will assist in executing events and developing the communicationsto increase awareness of these initiatives to garner participation from sponsors, Members, Non-Members, and Franchise Partners.
You will be a strong communicator, have experience working with sponsorship acquisition and creating event marketing communications and plans, and always deploy excellent attention to detail.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the COO, the Event Manager will be responsible for(but not limited to the following):
End to end event execution:
Working with subject matter experts (SME’s) for successful event management
Develop sponsorship tiers, proposals, and packets to assist with securing and executing sponsorships for internal and external events
Build relationships with sponsors, vendors, event partners and community leaders and identify new sponsors to grow partnership network
Collaborate with cross-departmental teams, management and vendors to ensure successful communication and execution of the events
Support marketing and promotional strategy utilizing email to grow participation
Track and analyze KPIs such as attendance, engagement and revenue for events and overall dollars secured through sponsorship acquisition
Work with marketing to develop necessary assets to support all event activations such as program briefs, overviews, system-wide communications and marketing materials
Travel to events and manage on-site execution
Lead presentations and present information to system as needed
Additional responsibilities, as assigned by manager
MEASURABLES
Help increase overall brand awareness and attendance to events by assisting with internal and external event execution and communication. This measurable can be defined by the amount of event attendees, sponsorship dollars secured, and the percentage to goal of the company’s annual KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related business field.
2-4 years of experience inevent development, execution, and sponsorship acquisition
Experience developing sponsorship proposals and marketing communications that drive results and achieve business goals
Project management experience or Project Management Professional Certification.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Excellent oral/written communication and high level of attention to detail
Proactive, reliable, and organized approach to work
Excellent proofreading and editing skills, copywriting skills are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in health/wellness industry
Passion for fitness, health and nutrition, enthusiastic about Burn Boot Camp’s mission
Eager to learn and grow, with a commitment to thoughtful problem solving
Ability to manage time and multiple priorities for internal and external partners
Experience in Wrike or other project management platform
