Responsibilities of Human Resources Assistant:
- Provide clerical support for the Safety, Training and Wellness Department and First Aid offices
- Process, record and maintain data including such information as employment data, benefits, personal information and staffing
- Compile and prepare documents and reports pertaining to personnel activities
- Assist in internal and external communication of Safety, Training and Wellness activities by creating and posting communication pieces using internal methods and through website(s), social media management and outside marketing sources
- Coordinate, schedule and assist with activities affecting benefits, employee relations or staffing
Qualifications for Human Resources Assistant:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Two years of position related experience preferred
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing and organizing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
- Must have ability to display appropriate proficiency with computers and computer applications
- Must have ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task and perform work accurately and thoroughly
