Job Description

House of Knack is seeking an ambitious and energetic Office Manager to oversee the functionality of both our Marketing Agency team as well as our Coworking community.  This individual will be highly organized and extremely detail-oriented. What You’ll Do

  • Building Community: You will be the main point of contact for Coworking members. It is vital to maintain a friendly and outgoing attitude towards everyone that comes through our doors. You will introduce members to each other and encourage collaboration. You will help maintain our email newsletter, community calendar, and social channels.
  • Special Projects: Like any startup, things are constantly moving. We will need someone that is eager to jump in and help wherever is needed and get things done.
  • Front Desk Services: Collect and organize mail and deliveries. Coordinate logistics pertaining to new and departing member services, such as welcome email, key and access set-up, tours, and helping members navigate frequently asked questions. Check-in guests using Covid-19 related health & safety standards
  • Facilities: Maintain office space according to Covid-19 related health & safety standards. In-house expert on facilities and technology – must be comfortable in navigating with basic operations of HVAC systems and in-house internet. Owns relationships with facilities-related vendors such as plumbers, electricians, painters, cleaning service, and handypersons and tracks all facilities and technology-related tickets
  • Administrative Duties: You will manage all administrative tasks for the Marketing Agency team. Some of the duties may involve but are not limited to, helping to plan team events, new hire onboarding, ad-hoc requests, drafting emails, managing C-Suite schedules, and ensuring office supplies are fully stocked. 

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience working within hospitality, business operations, office management or related role
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Attentive to Coworking members – the ability to make members feel welcomed and supported
  • Ability to take initiative and have a growth mindset
  • Proficient in Office 365
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solver
  • You have a growth mindset 
  • Experience working with social media is a plus
  • Highly organized
  • Proven experience organizing team events
  • Experience managing office/admin tasks
  • Have an awesome sense of humor
