Responsibilities
Responsible for optimizing Knauf Insulation's (KI) penetration with strategic accounts within scope of responsibility by developing and deploying annual plans with national accounts, strategic regional accounts and contractor buying groups. Annual key account plans will consist of volume commitments, specific market segment goals and strategies, specific metropolitan market goals and strategies, appropriate pricing strategy and corresponding resource commitment. This role will report into the VP, Sales Residential, Light Commercial & OEM.
Business Strategy Execution
- Authors multi year business plans for key National Account customers (Cameron Ashley and IBP)
- Assists in the execution of the Strategic Account Customer growth strategies.
- Supports Strategic Account network expansion with incremental volume and helps planning field marketing activities to drive brand preference.
- Identifies opportunities to profitably grow existing business, while effectively managing channel conflicts
- Helps with the development of pricing strategy and is actively engaged in price and programs negotiations.
- Builds and nurtures relationships with customers’ key stakeholders.
Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Implements forecast and monitors deviations
- Manages planned availability if demand exceeds supply
- Ensures customer satisfaction through coordination and collaboration with Customer Service and Operations
- Streamline customer facing processes, eliminate waste and unnecessary transactional costs
Team Development
- Ensures that sales, marketing and the Academy are operating in synergy to deliver exceptional customer experience at branch level.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
Experience:
- Knowledge/experience in construction / building material industry preferred
- Successful experience in building and growing customer relationships and developing channels
- Experience in managing and developing relationships with complex organizations
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Strategic and creative thinker
