KNK Recruiting, LLC is looking for a direct hire ICU Registered Nurse – FT Nights for our targeted client located in the Bellefontaine, Ohio area.
Targeted Pay Range: $35hr to $48hr –(pay varies depending upon skills and experience level).
Hours: 7 pm-7 am (72 hours a pay period)
Weekend Rotation – Every 3rd Weekend
Status: Full-Time
Targeted Client Description:
A leading not-for-profit healthcare organization with a comprehensive and integrated system of inpatient, outpatient and community services connected to meet all community members' health and wellness needs. Multiple facilities blanket a five-county region that includes Logan, Champaign, Hardin, Shelby, and Auglaize.
Summary: The ICU Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care. Communicates with physicians, nurse managers, co-workers, as appropriate related to changes in patient's clinical condition including diagnostic study results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Is able to perform general nursing duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for unit patient populations.
- Understand and be willing to adhere to the service excellence standards established for the hospital.
- Complete thorough patient assessments.
- Interact efficiently with all customers.
- Work independently and demonstrate ability to delegate appropriately.
- Able to effectively function in unexpected crisis in a calm, confident manner.
- Adjust schedule to meet unit needs, float to and work in other areas as assigned and accept low census as needed.
- Work requires weekend rotations and holidays.
- Adhere to all staffing and personnel policies.
- Must keep all required licensures and certifications current.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred
- Current State Nursing Licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. CCRN is encouraged.
- Conscious sedation is required.
- For FBC Nurses NRP is a required certification prior to completion of orientation.
- Cardiac Classes are required.
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 12 months of hire.
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Critical Care orientation is required.
