This role supports a network of Wholesale partners by creating a collaborative, inventive, assistive, and inclusive working relationship between the manufacturers (Knoll) and the Wholesale Partner (B&M/E-tailer). This role is process-oriented, with data-driven recommendations, assessments, and decisions to grow our business and achieve our annual sales goals.
The day-to-day responsibilities encompass sales (60%) and administrative (40%) tasks.

Basic Qualifications:
Sales Experience
- Establish relationships with all Owners/Operators/Sales for All Accounts (Knoll – 37)
- Oversee communication and support the Product Manager, Account Manager and Marketing Manager for sales/display related enquiries for All Accounts (Knoll – 37)
- Train retailer Sales and Staff online on Knoll products and service components. Create content for presentations
- Sales and product specifications assistance
- Strategize / Execute Incentive Programs
- Large or significant project advice and specification assistance
- Selling in store vignettes with graphics and accessories
- Regular communication regarding Knoll news, promotions, changes and inspiration
- Assess and ordering of samples and materials for retailers’ libraries
- Facilitate inspirational presentations for training/promotions
- Facilitate events designed to engage local designers and customers
- Quarterly business review with top accounts
- Managing escalated customer complaints (both end user and retailer)
- Weekly touch base with Customer Service team
- Tabulating results post month/quarter/annual close
- Assuring order objectives at month end are met
- Tracking individual retailer performance and rebates
- Maintain Muuto CRM Database
- Create KPR Contracts for promotional periods and special situations that require additional discounting
- Assist in development of content for Omni Retail Landing pages for Knoll
- Working with the sample team to ensure adequate samples in our literature centre (Knoll)
- Liaise with Order to Cash Development Team
- Assist with Price book updates (Knoll)
- Maintain Textile Database for top sellers (Knoll)
- Monthly updates to the In-Stock booklets (Knoll)
- Work with Credit Dept on new and existing accounts (credit holds, release of order, etc.)
- Review contracts for accounts
- Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Forecasting
- Monitor and track orders and shipments on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis using key metrics and company reporting tools.
- Review pricing methods, product positioning, sales effectiveness and other means of attaining revenue targets. Make improvements as necessary.
- Continual assessment of current accounts for trends and possible enhancements
- Work with Marketing Teams to be sure Marketing materials are built and rolled out for all Wholesale Partners (B&M / Etailers)
- Cultivate a strong partnership with internal teams: marketing, sales operations, contracts and channel teams to implement effective strategy and plans.
- Provide feedback and reinforcement on sales tool usage, needs, and necessary enhancements.
- Continuous self-directed product knowledge and familiarity with Knoll design heritage, new products and company's reputation of innovative products
- Develop and execute successful sales presentations
- Enter and maintain all customer interaction in salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead management and forecasting
- Bachelor's degree in business, interior design, architecture or related
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and/or wholesale.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Knoll.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with retailers.
- Full knowledge on Knoll systems, processes, and the way to do business.
