KnowledgePoints is hiring part-time instructors for our basic skills (K-12 reading, writing or math) and SAT/ACT Prep programs at both our Trinity and Land O' Lakes locations, and we have a particular need for tutors with primary (K-2) reading instructional experience in Trinity. We are seeking instructors who love working with children and want to make a significant difference in their lives.

We are a little different! We are a professional tutoring center that employs tutors (W-2) year-round. All tutoring takes place in our center, so there is no unpaid travel time or excessive gas/mileage expense. All of our tutors are either current or retired teachers; some working as few as 5-6 hours per week, while we have others that work as many as 20 hours per week. We take the time up front to understand how much our tutors want to work and when they are available, and then we schedule them within those parameters. We never schedule a tutor unless we can give them at least 2 consecutive hours. For current full-time teachers, we can work with you to find a schedule that will fit with your school schedule without "overdoing it."

All tutoring is individualized - we never exceed a 2:1 student ratio. We handle all parent communication, scheduling, student testing and session planning, allowing our tutors to spend ALL of their time doing what they enjoy most - teaching students!

To Qualify You Must Have:

• Teaching/tutoring experience

• The ability to start at 4:30 on weekdays

• A passion for working with children

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Bachelors Degree
