- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- License/Certifications: N/A
- Experience: Previous food service experience desirable.
- To understand all job related duties of tray aide/porter positions
- Demonstrates working knowledge of dishwasher, food service carts, food processor and kitchen utensils.
- Proper uniform/dress requirements, photo I.D. badge.

Pen Bay Medical Center’s Knox Center is looking to add a per diem Tray Aides to join our care team. Tray Aides assist with the production and distribution of food & non-food items to the residents. Tray Aides assemble cold food and non-food items for resident’s trays, prepare supplement drinks, snacks, desserts and drinks as scheduled. Tray Aides also assist with the stocking of the dining areas with condiments, food and paper goods, stocking the refrigerators and galleys.
The Knox Center offers compassionate long-term nursing care services delivered by highly trained professionals. The Knox Center also provides specialized long-term care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss.
