What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts & Supplies Program Manager position at Koch Enterprises Family of Companies?
Koch Air is seeking a Parts and Supplies Program Manager. Our Parts and Supplies Program Manager will develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and lead the Parts and Supplies Sales team to grow profitable Koch Air parts and supply sales, net margins, share of wallet and share of market at industry leading levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement clear sales and marketing strategies and procedures for parts and supplies for all of Koch Air with local adjustments, based on input from Branch Sales Management and the Marketing department.
Provide continual market information, negotiate competitive pricing and competitive programs directly with key vendors and communicate to Purchasing management our pricing and program negotiations. Seek out new strategic vendor partnerships
Work closely with the Marketing Department to develop and implement effective, cost-efficient advertising, promotions, and incentive programs that will increase parts and supply sales and loyalty. Continuously promote the Koch Air Value Proposition.
Clearly communicate parts and supply sales and marketing strategies and procedures to all of Koch Air, especially the Outside and Inside Sales Teams and Operations Teams. Provide the leadership and support to achieve them. Develop and implement efficient and effective customer account development strategies.
Provide all necessary coaching and training to make our Sales Team industry leading experts in sales methods, product knowledge, and help them use these skills to make our customers the best in the industry. Actively work to create a culture of industry leading customer service and responsiveness.
Fully understand, promote, and train parts and supply sales team members on Koch Air core P&S products, advertising, promotions, warranty procedures, business processes, E-commerce, and other programs and policies. Actively look for and recommend improvements. Identify specific needs for each team member. Reinforce all training.
Work closely with the Purchasing and Pricing teams, as well as the VP of Operations to optimize our parts and supply inventory SKU’s, turns, GMROI and availability.
Seek out new and innovative products or services to maintain Koch Air’s world class parts and supplies product offering. Work directly with vendors to develop both internal and external training. Identify and develop vendor specific product support activities exclusive to Koch Air.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BS degree in Business or Engineering (beneficial, not required)
Successful leadership experience
5 years HVAC, or related experience preferably focused on Parts and Supplies
