This role works a 9/80 schedule and travel will be up to 10% of the time.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Provide construction management support for capital projects ranging from $50k to $20M
- Integrate construction services with projects run by Koch project managers (Enid and OPEX)
- Manage the construction management program in Enid by defining and improving work processes to ensure projects are competitively built regarding schedule, cost, safety, environmental compliance, and quality
- Lead and develop the construction services team consisting of construction coordination, planning, estimating and technical input
- Seek out new ways for the construction services team to provide value to the plant through strong relationship building
- Oversee the long-term manhour forecast for projects within a year of field execution
- Develop and maintain metrics for construction services to ensure the group is providing timely, safe, and competitive construction management. Interpret and use metrics to improve construction
- Seek out and develop relationships with contractors to ensure the highest quality work is being provided. Look for new and innovative ways to build within an industrial plant
- Integrate project work with the turnaround team and provide support as needed during turnarounds.
- Walkdown the jobsite to ensure completeness
- Provide quality control (QC) oversight throughout construction to ensure that project drawings and specifications are met
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Five (5 ) years of experience in a role responsible for project planning, job site safety management, contractor coordination and oversight in an industrial setting
- Experience developing, implementing, and tracking schedules
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Experience scheduling in Primavera
- Experience in Turnaround execution and coordination
