What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Analyst position at Koch Industries?
We are seeking a Tax Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Wichita, KS to provide compliance, tax position management, and planning in support of Koch Family members and Foundations. This role will have primary tax compliance responsibility for family-owned businesses, investments, and foundations.

What You Will Do
- Prepare and/or review income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic tax law including Forms 1065 and 990-PF as well as various state tax filings
- Support tax positions and participate in tax planning projects
- Build relationships with the team to better understand the customers and ensure accurate reporting of items on tax returns
- Collaborate on multiple projects and communicate results to your supervisor and team
- Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency and share ideas for transformation to drive value creation in the tax organization
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Strong understanding of General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows
- Strong capability with Microsoft Excel - spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation etc.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business or Taxation
- Experience with partnership and/or foundation tax compliance
- Previous major CPA firm experience
- ProSystems or CCH Axcess experience
