Description
Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company and part of a Koch Industries is seeking a Operator/Molder in Costa Mesa, to operate the molding machine and meet all production, quality, and safety requirements. In this role you will provide a positive impact to accelerate mold development and increase our capabilities in new product development, as it relates to Silicon Molding, Injection Molding, Robotic Molding, and hand loaded insert molding and processing.
1st Shift: Monday - Friday 4:30am - 1:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 1:30pm -10:30pm
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Responsible for performing a variety of general tasks involved in manufacturing process. These tasks include, but are not limited to; mold machine operation, basic manufacture, assembly, use of basic hand tools and any operation of assigned production/manufacturing.
- Communicate technical subject matter to colleagues as needed.
- Responsible for performing a variety of general tasks involved in manufacturing process. These tasks include, but are not limited to; mold machine operation, basic manufacture, assembly, use of basic hand tools and any operation of assigned production/manufacturing.
- Working in bench-top assembly environment using a variety of manufacturing equipment
- Modifying the mold machine programs as needed per the operating procedures to meet the needs of our customers
- Lifting and moving objects up to 50lbs occasionally
- Recording process documentation
- Complying with all safety requirements including manufacturing practices and procedures, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing documentation
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or maintenance experience
What Will Put You Ahead
- Prior Injection Molding Experience
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical
- Molding Certificate
