Description
Molex has an opening for an experienced Program Manager in our Digital Technology team. The Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology programs, as well as supervise a team of project managers. In this role, you will work closely with the Digital Leaders, Program Director, Value Stream Leader, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the program meets expectations for scope, schedule, quality, cost, and experience.
This role is open to remote work here in the US, with a strong preference to work a hybrid scheduled out of our Lisle, Illinois, Rochester Hills, Michigan or Wichita, KS office.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Manage and oversee all aspects of program delivery and operations functions/pillars, including project planning, scope, timeline, budget, and resource management (full list of program pillars below).
- Collaborate with the Value Stream Leader, Program Manager, PMO Center of Excellence, Business Unit Leaders, and Workstream Leads to ensure that program objectives are clearly defined, communicated, and aligned with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, design, development, QA, and delivery to develop program plans and execute on them.
- Ensure that programs and corresponding projects are delivered to expectations of scope, schedule, quality, cost, and experience.
- Develop and maintain program & project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Monitor program progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure that project teams are following established project management processes and methodologies.
- Manage program budgets, including forecasting and reporting,
- Lead and develop a direct team of program managers, project managers, and project coordinators to ensure their continued growth and fulfillment.
- Collaborate with other technology leaders to further define, establish, and maintain project management processes and standards across the organization.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience managing complex technology programs from inception to completion with multiple stakeholders, release schedules, and dependencies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating program teams, including progress achieving project management processes and excellence.
- Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, or Lean.
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in program and project management.
- Demonstrated program financial acumen and experience creating business cases, defining program budgets & forecasts, and reporting.
- Experience leading global or distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, delivery quality, and contracts.
What Will Put You Ahead
- MBA or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar.
- Experience managing large-scale, complex technology projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Experience in the ServiceNow platform, specifically Strategic Portfolio Management (formerly IT Business Management).
- Experience in a leadership role within a technology organization, such as a Manager of Technology or related technology function.
- Experience with portfolio management and prioritization, including the ability to align project portfolios with business objectives and strategies.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives, including product lifecycle management, manufacturing, supply chain, enterprise applications, or enterprise infrastructure.

For this role, we anticipate paying $150,000 - $170,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
