We are looking for a Sub Regional Environmental Leader to oversee our Ripley, Newbern, and Farmington locations.
In this role, the Sub Regional Environmental Leader will be responsible for developing and leveraging resilient systems and building site level capability so that we can consolidate environmental reporting, permitting, and compliance verification for the Ripely, Newbern, and Farmington locations.
What You Will Do In Your Role
· Providing transformational leadership, direction, and influence to achieve the EHS vision through management commitment and employee ownership
· Developing and aligning facility EHS programs and strategies according to the business/enterprise EHS plan
· Ensuring the EHS vision is developed and integrated in facilities
· Fostering an environment where employees understand and exercise their decision rights regarding EHS
· Leading the development of risk assessment methods/systems for anticipating, identifying, and evaluating hazards
· Increasing critical hazard awareness thereby reducing the likelihood of at-risk behaviors
· Ensuring an effective change management process is in place
· Partnering with facility leadership to develop short and long-term EHS objectives, targets, strategies, and measures that prioritize and mitigate risks
· Ensuring the development, improvement, and implementation of training systems to meet plant needs
· Fostering an EHS environment of collaboration and active participation with all employees
· Ensuring successful completion of environmental reporting obligations
· Reviewing permits to meet compliance obligations.
· Assisting with complete and accurate permitting initiatives for both new and renewal of operating permits.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or related field, OR three (7) plus years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
What Will Put You Ahead
· Five (5) to 10 plus years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
· Experience with Title V compliance
