We are looking for a competent Account Manager to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of our insurance agency. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer claims, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents (mostly digital)
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
Skills
- Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Excel
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Insurance license mandatory, but can be obtained after hire if good fit
- Ability to pass insurance exams required
