What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Assistant position at KOHLS?
Provides support to Talent Team related to external hiring and onboarding.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
TALENT SUPPORT
- Maintain requisitions and accurately track talent activity
- Maintain documents, reports, spreadsheets, etc. at the request of the Talent team
- May assist Recruiters with sourcing non-exempt and exempt candidates
- Process offers and other recruiting related transactions in Human Capital Management system
- Greet and provide support to candidates through lobby management
- May conduct reference checks, process background checks and administer drug testing logistics
- Communicate new hire information to appropriate departments and follow-up with candidates on start dates and orientation information
- Special projects as assigned
SCHEDULE INTERVIEWS
- Schedule on-site and audio/video conference interviews
- Coordinate schedules between candidate, Recruiter, Manager, and other interviewers. Coordinate travel schedules if necessary

REQUIRED
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exhibit professionalism
- Ability to quickly react and change direction based on limited information
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work as part a team and interact
- Effectively interact with others at various levels of the organization
PREFERRED
- Working knowledge of basic computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
