POSITION TITLE: Automation Engineer, Automation Engineering

POSITION SUMMARY: The primary focus of the Automation Engineering Automation Engineer is to work with the Engineered-to-Order (ETO) and Modernization groups to support our customers by implementing Warehouse Management System (WMS) software and hardware solutions that satisfy the contract. Be part of a team of software, electrical and field engineers, the engineer will participate commissioning, troubleshooting, updating software, and ensuring our equipment is exceeding our customer’s expectations. This individual reports directly to the Manager, Automation Engineering.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Customizing of crane controls using existing software modules and standards from global automation engineering for various applications if they are proven to work and meet our customer’s needs. Consulting Warehouse Management System (WMS) customer during the sales phase - support frontline. Be able to write functional descriptions and interface specifications as explaining details out of them. Utilize C , PHP, CSS, and JavaScript to customize Warehouse Management System (WMS). Participate commissioning and training customer. Report improvement findings to Manager, Automation Engineering. Be able to travel to customer sites to troubleshoot problems.

QUALIFICATIONS: Shall have BSEE; a Master’s in software/electrical/automation is preferred. 2 to 5 years of programming in C , PHP, HTML CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Good communication skills with customers. Be able to travel domestically and internationally.
