SUMMARY
The Account Manager plays a key role in maintaining customer relationships and partnering with the Sales team to retain and expand our customer base. The role focuses on building long-term, profitable relationships through managing orders, providing order status updates, and acting as a primary communication point between the customer and the company.
Pay: $28-$30/hr
Status: Temp
Schedule: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with the Sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversees the customer delivery scorecard.
- Leads problem resolution efforts with customers regarding orders, changes, and statuses, and escalates issues when necessary.
- Communicates potential business opportunities to the Sales team.
- Maintains frequent communication with customers to track open account actions.
- Ensures order and schedule alignment with pricing, manages quantity revisions and delivery reschedules.
- Processes order changes, manages blanket orders, releases modifications, communicates product specifications, and initiates P.O. contract reviews.
- Resolves customer complaints promptly, aiming for complete customer satisfaction while upholding the company’s reputation.
- Partners with internal departments to communicate order information and resolve issues.
- Manages customer portals and forecasts demand.
- Represents the voice of the customer during daily Theory of Constraints (TOC) walks and shipping plan meetings.
- Works with internal departments to resolve accounts receivable issues.
- Receives and routes RFQs to the Pricing function.
- Coordinates and participates in annual customer assessments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Account Management or sales/customer service roles within manufacturing, preferably aerospace.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing is a plus.
- Experience with MS Office and ERP systems is required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships.
- Strong multi-tasking, organization, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a high level of customer service.
- Ability to understand customer needs and deliver results both independently and within a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
