Account Manager

This position is responsible for managing relationships with customers. This is a full-time salaried position that reports to the Insides Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships between customers and the company
• Managing jobs/projects for customers with the shop.
• Resolving customer issues and complaints
• Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
• Processing new orders/change orders accurately using E2 scheduling software.
• Quoting customers on new parts. Creating new part numbers for quotes to be reviewed by shop and insides sales manager for time and materials.
• Quoting customers on raw materials (Sheet, Rod & Tube Distribution or cut to size jobs)
• Providing customers with timely information pertaining to orders or quotes and any changes in delivery dates
• Reviewing margin summaries on all incoming orders to ensure profitability
• Managing customer scorecards

• Managing customer requests for move-ins or move-outs with input from the shop and company expediting guidelines.
• Processing returns for non-conforming parts and helping drive resolution for the return.

Requirements:

• Strong Customer Service
• Excellent attention to detail and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and with customers.
• Ability to work independently, learn new tasks/handle multiple tasks, solve problems, and show strong self-motivation and initiative.
• Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards.
• Bachelor Degree Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Inside Sales: 1 year (Required)
