Korean Air's American Regional Headquarter is currently seeking global minded Human Resource Coordinator who will contribute to the success and growth of the Company.

  • Position: Human Resources Coordinator
  • Location: 900 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90017
  • Job Type: Contracted Full-Time
  • Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing administrative functions within the organization.
  • Provides administrative support to the HR team.
  • Greets applicants, employees, volunteers, and other visitors. Provides information to applicants relating to employment opportunities, paperwork, ID badges, benefits information, parking and other related Human Resources information.
  • Completes employment verification forms and types various correspondence relating to employment matters.
  • Files and maintains employee paperwork.
  • Ensuring all information and systems are updated timely and accurately.
  • Processing all new hire paperwork, completing I-9 verifications, meeting with new employees to explain internal systems and processes, and supporting hiring managers from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of data across all HR systems, personnel files, and all other systems that include employee information.
  • Updating employee information in organizational charts, publications, and directories.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years of human resources experience preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a creative and diverse group of people and as part of a team
  • Discretion with confidential information
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and verbal and written communications skills
  • Fluency in Korean preferred
