Labor and Employment Paralegal
Lucas Group, a Korn Ferry Company has partnered up with one of their law firm clients. Seeking an Elder Law Paralegal with at least three years of experience with preparing Medicaid claims. Duties include preparing and submitting medical assistance applications; interviewing prospective clients; preparing client summaries; and drafting medical consents, advanced health care directives and other similar documents. Qualified candidates will possess Paralegal degree or experience equivalent. Additional qualifications include excellent analytical and organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team. Strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills essential.This is a hybrid position (1 day remote) based out of Townson, MD.
Requirements:
· Degree: Associates, Bachelors, or certificate in paralegal studies
· 3 years experience in Elder Law
· Hybrid schedule (1 day remote)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Critical thinking skills; professional; and able to collaborate with others
· Able to work under pressure and prioritize deadlines
