KPMG is currentlyseeking a Lead Specialist II, DPMO to join our Digital Nexus Technologyorganization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Digital Program Management Office (DPMO) organization and leader, and act as primary owner to the DPMO roadmap to ensure we capture, structure, align and plan key initiatives while ensuring proper resource engagement; drive DPMO roadmap items and key initiatives with other DPMO resources and/or cross functional teams driving forward momentum of our strategy
  • Enable Agile execution teams and act as Scrum Master to implement key DPMO capabilities, minimum viable products and/or ongoing practice development and improvement while increasing our time to market; accountable for working with other DPMO leaders to ensure we have a comprehensive planning process and support the various financial management milestones (Quarterly Forecasting, Annual Planning, etc.)
  • Act as the liaison for Finance on all technology related investments and work with the respective portfolio managers and key stakeholders to ensure SPM data is maintained for proper financial reporting; own all financial system integration with our system of record (SPM) and respective reporting (Pbi) and portfolio dashboards
  • Support the DPMO team and technology leaders to coordinate and communicate new improvement initiatives that come into the DPMO to the appropriate stakeholders or practice leaders (e.g., Resource, Portfolio, Project, Program, etc.) to improve speed of response rate; work closely with delivery teams during the planning phase to ensure key needs are appropriately addressed, leading to successful project execution
  • Work with practices and process leads to help shape DPMO capabilities and processes to increase consistently across Functional IT groups; communicate upcoming improvements to IT team to ensure alignment on priorities and need; identify common threads among improvements to help accelerate delivery and encourage common processes and tools leveraging best practices and our maturity framework
  • Own overall accountability for a team, including the group's organization, recruiting, coaching, and mentoring of staff as necessary; regularly engage with counselees and those they work with to help them continuously improve; work to increase counselees' engagement, job satisfaction, and pride; act as a role model for doing the right things and treating people the right way

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of recent experience with Agile, project, program or portfolio management; minimum three years of recent IT financial management experience and working with internal Financial (F&A) teams – from Investment Business case to financial reporting and forecasts
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple complex concurrent programs and/or assignments applying deep expertise and agility to make strategic decisions that impact the technology organization, DPMO, and the firm
  • Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
  • Customer centric with the ability to see the customers' point of view with a service-oriented mindset; strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority as well as Strong quantitative research, critical thinking, problem solving, presentation and analytical skills
  • Ability to direct, motivate and empower others to work towards the organization's goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across multiple functions; ensure execution of strategic initiatives for the organization; ability to address emerging opportunities and how organization should be organized/staffed to realize them
