KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Privacy Operations to join our Enterprise Data Services organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage resources and processes for day-to-day delivery of Privacy Operations services, including but not limited to Privacy Self-Assessment (PSA), PII Inventory, Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), Data Mapping/Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA), and PII Inventory
- Provide Privacy consultation during development of new and changing technical solutions and business processes to implement controls to protect personal data
- Oversee development to coordinate delivery and ongoing maintenance of Privacy training, communications, and awareness program, including but not limited to regulatory required privacy training such as HIPAA/GDPR/CCPA
- Contribute to design and implementation of Privacy Operations/Level 1 operating models, including integrating automation into Privacy processes
- Function as Privacy knowledge expert coaching and supporting the team in their growth
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in leading development and implementation of Privacy projects, people, and operational processes
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; CIPP Certification or comparable Privacy certification is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in effectively working with stakeholders at all levels and across departments to drive compliance of privacy requirements and promote privacy best practices
- High knowledge level of regulations and requirements of US and International Privacy, including CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA / HITECH, Privacy Shield, GLBA, or other similar
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and manage risks related to the processing of personal data and implementing appropriate internal controls to mitigate such risks
