KPMG is currently seeking a Director, KPMG Delivery Network Global Compliance to join our Quality and Risk Management team with the KPMG Delivery Network. KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) is a KPMG special purpose member firm offering a way for clients to leverage KPMG top talent and technology platforms through regional teams of specialists, enabling economies of scale and a new way of working that expands beyond local capability organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support KDN's business - including the Global central team and each of the Audit, Tax and Advisory functions and the Global Delivery Centers owned by KDN-- in designing and documenting appropriate KDN SoQM controls, including using the KQCE workflow to address identified risks and objectives
- Assist in the preparation and drafting reports for KPMG governance bodies; aid in the development and operation of SoQM/KQCE processes; monitor and communicate relevant global communications and information to the business, tailoring as necessary and act as a central point of contact between the Global SoQM/KQCEs team and KDN SoQM/KQCE stakeholders as necessary
- Manage and maintain information on RACIs / span of control, handle the annual KDN risk assessment process under SoQM/KQCE; help the business with the design, implementation and remediation of controls and preparation of SoQM/KQCE documentation, ensuring consistent quality and guide the annual SoQM/KQCE attestation process
- Work with the relevant KDN business functions, oversee the maintenance and quality of SoQM/KQCE-related documentation; attend to the input of process and control documentation to KQCE; spearhead SoQM related content in KDN's intellectual resources
- Determine SoQM/KQCE training needs and audience and working with L&D to roll-out / develop training
- Identify potential process and control improvements and partner with the business to design / implement these; liaise with each owned and contracted KDN Global Delivery Center to agree controls that need to be implemented offshore and support / review control design; perform initial implementation testing of new and revised controls, in coordination with functional and business stakeholders and control the implementation of Special Alerts
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent and related business experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university with a relevant business discipline essential
- External or internal audit or compliance background with significant experience with KPMG's SoQM/KQCE processes preferred
- Experience designing, documenting and testing non-financial controls along with strong risk management awareness
- Ability to apply critical thinking, analytical capability and attention to detail, problem solving attitude; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; strong questioning and listening skills
- Experience operating globally; able to build relationships and act as a trusted advisor
