KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Systems & Infrastructure Administration to join our Digital Nexus organization.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the various audio/video codes used with Skype for Business, Teams and other platforms, as required for various integration options
- Work with the IT organization’s management and staff in the identification, evaluation, implementation, integration, maintenance and problem resolution for all related systems in support of the firm's business requirements
- Provide guidance with diagnosis, escalate as appropriate to management and communicate to other support staff during critical system outages
- Recommend, develop and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system
- Provide tier 2 troubleshooting support; investigate user escalation calls, finding optimum solutions for both users and the company; Participate in technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement and conversions
- Maintain and administer Infrastructure Servers, including daily monitoring, capacity management, troubleshooting and performance analysis to improve service performance, capabilities, and interoperability; stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in managing and supporting Messaging and Collaboration environments at Enterprise level; ability to provide expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical Windows and software updates and vulnerability issues
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
- Strong technical working knowledge of Windows server OS, Microsoft Exchange 2010, Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, O365, Enterprise Active Directory, Skype for Business 2015, SFTP, ProofPoint, PowerShell, Teams, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, SIP, NAT, certificate management, load balancers and network related technologies
- Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; Physical Server architecture; Virtualization Technologies (e.g. VMware, Cisco UCS) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies; expert knowledge in administering, Exchange 2010/2016/Online, SfB 2015, Teams and Active Directory (AD) knowledge
- Develop and automates routine tasks via scripting/coding and automation tools; experience writing and using PowerShell scripts for Skype for Business and Exchange; capacity planning, disaster recovery, performance tuning and testing, logical and physical architecture design
- Must be able to work weekends and nights for maintenance windows and on-call rotation; US Citizenship is required
