Team Lead

As a Team Lead, you are charged to be a multi-faceted, hands-on, goal-oriented driver of teamwork and achievement. You need to be able to motivate others to exceed safety, quality, and production targets and expectations. You must have very strong communication skills and be able to effectively coordinate operational activities on a daily basis. The Technical Team Lead should have very robust mechanical acumen, experience in building, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, and general knowledge of the current work order, preventative maintenance, and breakdown analysis procedures. Be prepared to design work schedules and align production planning to meet all productivity goals for the department. Train all current and new team members on line procedures, routines, and rituals, as well as company policies and governing regulations. Lead, Teach, and Inspire.

Essential Job Functions:

• Keeping area clean and orderly.

• Ensure OSCAR boards are being utilized when assigned.

• Sanitation, as required, in processing and packaging areas and PC areas

• Make minor adjustments

• Position may include quality checks, including but not limited to GMP, HACCP, and weights.

• Comply with all company policies and general safety rules while performing duties.

• Perform other duties incidental to job as assigned by supervisor.

• Know, understand, and comply with Kraft Heinz Environmental Policy.

• Reduce Kraft Heinz Environmental footprint.

• Basic Knowledge of CIP procedure throughout department

• Owning process of sanitation procedures as assigned by supervisor

• Driving KHMS culture throughout department

Standard Job Functions:

• Responsible for wearing proper PPE, complying with all safety training, policies and procedures, and reporting any unsafe safety conditions to a Supervisor/ Management

• Participate and collaborates in meetings.

• Training others and filling in for other positions as assigned.

• Participate in the QRMP audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions

• Oversee and lead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list.

• Basic understanding of: Employee must be able to read work instructions, fill out form in English about work status, and communicate with lead.
• Able to work under a fast-paced work environment and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Appropriate time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Accountable and Responsible. Able to follow directions and ability to perform tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision
• Exercises good judgment and decision-making skills, bringing up to the supervisor any issues outside of his/her scope of responsibility and control.
• Sanitation procedures.
• Able to work flexible schedules when needed
• Safe work habits
• Maintain an excellent attendance record / adherence to attendance policy
• Promotes teamwork
• Attention to detail to avoid and/or identify errors
• Good organizational skills
