Job Summary :
Krause Auto Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Foreman / Lead Tech to join our team in Venice, Florida.
This is a full-time, salaried position in the auto industry, with a pay rate of $30 per hour and biweekly pay.
As the Body Shop Foreman / Lead Tech, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our body shop department.
This includes supervising technicians, scheduling repairs, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities :
- Manage and lead a team of body shop technicians, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and schedule repairs and body work for all vehicles, ensuring all work is completed within established timelines.
- Oversee work quality to ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards.
- Keep accurate inventory records and order necessary supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all company and OSHA regulations.
- Monitor and track productivity and efficiency of the body shop department.
- Work closely with the parts department to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts for repairs.
- Maintain open communication with customers, providing updates on repairs and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries with professionalism and strive to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training in automotive repair preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a body shop or collision repair setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in vehicle body repair and restoration.
- Ability to read and interpret repair orders, estimate repair costs, and create work schedules.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proficient in computer skills and knowledge of various industry-specific software.
