Summary Description
Perform and variety of juice preparation duties such as mixing ingredients, filling, capping, placing labels, cleaning, chopping vegetables and fruits, and assembling of final products such as juices, smoothies, tonic shots & non dairy milks.
Job Tasks
Perform the following tasks:
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment & utensils.
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
- Clean kitchen utensils.
Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
- Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas.
Prepare a variety of fruits, vegetables and superfoods, according to Company’s recipes or supervisor’s instructions, following approved procedures.
Keep records of the quantities of product used.
Take and record temperature of food and food storage areas such as refrigerators and freezers.
- Assess equipment functioning.
Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to prepare for juicing.
- Prepare foods for cooking and packaged food items.
Portion and assemble packaged food, including wrapping the food to be shipped for retail sale.
Weigh or measure ingredients.
Mix ingredients for green salads, wraps, vegetable salads and cold tapas.
Load kitchen utensils, into dishwashing machines.
Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas.
Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
- Remove trash.
Cut, slice or grind meat, poultry, and seafood to prepare for cooking.
- Cut cooked or raw foods.
Use manual or electric appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foods.

Inform supervisors when equipment is not working properly and when food and supplies are getting low, and order needed items.

Work Activities

Requirements
- Some to proven kitchen experience. Training available.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
- Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
- A team player with good communication skills
- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure.
- Very good physical condition and endurance.
Compensation
Depending on Experience.
