- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work weekends on a regular basis and overtime on a frequent basis
- Ability to work any shift
- Ability to pass a typing and writing test
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Accuracy / attention to detail
- Ability to organize / prioritize tasks / projects
- Ability continue education
- Ability to travel independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and site-specific computer programs
- Valid driver's license Desired
- Military, private security and / or retail security experience
- Ability to operate : forklift, tugger, and motorized cart
- Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Provide complete and accurate records of all in-coming and out-going traffic in accordance with the Kroger Logistics Loss Prevention Manual and site specific procedure manuals
- Monitor pedestrian traffic
- Respond to emergencies in and around the Distribution Center
- Report and document all policy / safety violations
- Collect and record preliminary information needed for theft and accident investigations
- Conduct closed circuit TV surveillance in accordance with site specific procedure manual
- Must be able to pass a site specific Proficiency Exam within 90 days of employment
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
