Position Summary

Assist with supporting and enhancing the privacy standards and policies that support privacy governance. Assist with daily operations of the program with focus on managing privacy requests from consumers and associates, investigation and tracking of privacy issues, privacy program metrics and status reporting. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions

Utilize the privacy management tool to perform identify verification process and any manual steps to promote the privacy requests to downstream Kroger systems

Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from internal and external Kroger constituents and facilitate communication among the Privacy Office team members and the other stakeholders as described in the privacy charter

Assist with the implementation and on-going execution of privacy-related projects and the adoption of new policies, procedures, and trainings

Gather and assemble data for privacy office metric reporting by tracking progress against privacy program goals and other metric such as execution of privacy-related projects, policies, trainings and privacy consumer and associate requests

Assist with conducting and managing privacy impact assessments, ROPA updates and other privacy by design work

Maintain repository of documentation required for privacy compliance; Ensure privacy documentation is regularly reviewed and updated

Assist with conducting privacy workshops with the business and functional areas

Partner with various line of business across the organization to operationalize privacy requirements

Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications

2 years demonstrated customer service experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build strong working relationship with internal customers at all levels of management and work on cross-functional teams on complex issues

High level of integrity and ability to build trust

Ability to work with IT professionals and basic knowledge of IT terms and concepts

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Excellent administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects on a daily basis

Self-motivated with project coordination experience and an ability to work independently to prioritize and organize work based on changing and challenging deadlines

Desired Previous Experience/Education

Bachelor's Degree

IAPP - Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT)
