Telecom Engineering Attributes• Must be a knowledgeable, organized, and detail-oriented candidate that takes pride in good customer service and builds relationships with customers and the team, and has strong leadership skills. • Provides status reports, exchanges relevant information with management and project teams.• Effectively manage business interactions and technical support inquiries.• Provides detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and operation performance.• Establishes and maintains relationships with outside vendors• Addresses operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction• Developes and implements solutions through operational procedures and policies Technical Skills• Deep understanding of telephony technologies, including SIP, TDM, and RTP.• Strong understanding of Cloud services, best practices and operational support. • 2 years experience with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) as it applies to various telecommunications systems such IP PBX, Analog and Digital Gateways, Phones, and Session Border Controllers.• Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills demonstrated in voice and data IP networking environment to be able to collaborate with stakeholders as well as technical organization to leverage the capabilities of existing technology.Position SummaryProvide advanced and/or cross-technology engineering through all phases of the Technology/Project Life Cycle. Accountable for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support. Design, implement/install, maintain and administer infrastructure systems including hardware, software and various configurations. Monitor overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Perform root cause analysis on failed components and implement corrective measures. Mentor and coach others to establish and improve processes and procedures.
