OVERVIEW: The Sales Channel Manager will drive growth and support a customer-centric approach by shaping the sales channel strategy at KSB for North America, with a clear focus on distribution to develop the standard business market area. In this role, you will design, develop and implement an efficient distribution network that supports KSB’s objectives and ensures timely delivery of products to our customers. This position will report to the VP of Sales Standard Business-North America. To excel in this position, you should possess proficiency in distribution strategy and management, demonstrate strategic thinking by generating and applying innovative business insights for competitive advantage and exhibit adeptness in remote supervision to foster productive relationships with distant teams and supervisors. RESPONSIBILITIES: Define and implement the sales channel strategy for standard business in the North American Region (AMN - US, Canada, and Mexico) in collaboration with sales directors, local strategy team, training center and marketing Lead the implementation of standard business distribution practices within the region Identify suitable partners and build strong relationships with the standard business in General Industry, Petrochemical/Chemical, Building Services and Valves for KSB in North America Develop short- and long-term plans for the sales channel base, emphasizing the distribution channel for the rep network within the Region Lead and inspire sales teams to achieve common targets, utilizing performance metrics for effective management and growth Manage incentive plans and distributor discount structures, leading necessary negotiations Establish an onboarding process for new partners and define rules for sales channel management Ensure that KSB Partners receive essential training and regular updates to foster ongoing improvement Work closely with sales directors and their teams to ensure strategic alignment through collaboration Assist in the advancement of online channel platforms to improve customer outreach, while maintaining close collaboration with the Regional Director for Digital Business Enhance KSB's brand awareness throughout the region by collaborating closely with the Regional Marketing Team, this involves identifying suitable partners as brand ambassadors to generate market interest Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in distribution activities QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree and a least 5 years of experience in sales channel management roles or distribution sales Demonstrated aptitude in inspiring and guiding sales channel teams A history of making decisions based on data and prioritizing customer satisfaction Strategic thinking abilities for devising and executing long-term plans Confidence, clarity, and a keen business acumen Established background in establishing and overseeing distribution networks, preferably within the US or North America Strong negotiation prowess and adeptness in relationship-building Analytical skills for interpreting complex data Exceptional communication and presentation abilities. Proficiency in matrix management methodologies, cultivating trust and empathy to successfully lead and influence stakeholders Time management skills, an ability to balance project demands and daily business objectives to achieve strategic goals Sensitivity to social cues, enabling the ability to comprehend and respond fittingly to others' reactions and interpretations Deductive reasoning capabilities for applying general rules to specific problems.
