Scheduler / Shipping & Receiving

We are seeking a Service Scheduler / Shipping and Receiving associate to join our great team in Rapid City, South Dakota.

The Service Scheduler / Shipping and Receiving associate will coordinate and schedule technical staff for the installation and support of multiple product lines to a diverse customer base. They will be responsible for prioritizing all installation and service activities while providing regular and effective communication to both staff and customers.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the Service Manager coordinating with other departments or upper level technical support
• Provide feedback and service status to Service Manager on service calls and installations
• Be a backup person for shipping and receiving in a small warehouse environment; receiving items from multiple vendors and shipping companies
• Starting the online warranty claim process for PCs that are under warranty, ordering the needed parts for repair, receiving and distribution of parts when they arrive, the return of the core parts to the manufacturer, and closing of the online warranty claim with the manufacturer
• Assist with answering incoming calls on a multi-line phone system

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a scheduling position for a minimum of 5 employees
• Able to lift packages up to 70 pounds and work on their feet for prolonged periods of time
• Proficient in all MS Office products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in typing and very strong computer skills
• Ability to multi task and keep multiple employees and departments organized and efficient
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Must be able to prioritize service activities based on urgency and communicate effectively with customers during this process
• Experience in inventory processes is preferred, specifically in the areas of shipping, receiving and inventory controls
• Must have excellent verbal phone skills and be able to deal with incoming calls for service requests
• A background in the warranty claim process for the ordering, distribution and return of warranty parts in electronics field a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
