Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
A. Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating human resources activities and staff of the organization. They will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department.

C. Job Status
1. Full-time, 40 hours a week, or more as needed.

i. In office, Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

H. Required Education
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
2. At least four (4) years of related experience required.
I. Essential Duties
1. Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
2. Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy.
3. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies/procedures, and helping resolve work-related problems.
4. Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
5. Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
6. Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
7. Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new staff in the department.
8. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
9. Manage DOT Drug Program
J. Additional Job Duties
1. Provide support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
2. Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
3. Negotiate bargaining agreements and help interpret labor contracts.
4. Develop and manage the employee evaluation and employee satisfaction survey processes.
5. Develop succession planning for critical staff.
6. Document up to date policies, procedures, and job descriptions.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
