BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
This role will help build relationships with customers in the Construction, Commercial, and Rental industries to increase revenues and customer satisfaction. It will also be responsible for creating and doing presentations to varying levels within the organization.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures, and guidelines:
Follow National Account Strategy processes that support sales in current and potential accounts in pricing and aftermarket support.
Assist the National Accounts Team to manage and track monthly and annual sales reporting required by government/municipal agreements.
Track and maintain databases for governmental rebate programs, and agreements.
Customer relationship building which may include outside sales calls including travel to customer’s place of business.
Provide a high level of customer service with follow up to sales orders and any customer and/or dealer related issues.
Develop product presentations, develop proposals, and complete requests for proposals.
Participate in Trade Show activities, recommend promotions and marketing support to increase brand awareness.
Work with customers on increasing their equipment fleets to meet business objectives.
Contribute to the successful management of National Account Sales goals.
Other duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or another related field preferred:
In lieu of a degree at least 3 years of experience in a similar sales role required.
With a degree 1 years of related experience required.
Successful sales experience in the Tractor or Construction Equipment Industry is preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
