Your Role
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, or the Operations Supervisor, the Inventory Analyst is responsible for the proper function and maintenance of Inventory and Cycle Counting activities under their direction in a manner consistent with company service, quality and cost objectives. Position must be filled by US Citizen or Permanent ResidentYour Responsibilities
- You will support all aspects of Inventory Control as applicable and associated with the following responsibilities: Receiving of goods, put-away, replenishment and picking, assembling sorting and packing, dispatching products, cycle counting and physical inventorying, and reconciling differences.
- Prepare and monitor appropriate inventory reports Implement and monitor all important functions related to inventory management to assure that they are accurate.
- You will coordinate and monitor a cycle count program.
- You will ensure that daily cycle counting is completed by observing Contract Logistics and client guidelines.
- Coordinate the cycle count process and results to identify necessary recounts and processes to be monitored and provide regular reports on the results.
- You will work with main personnel to implement process improvements to operational procedures to improve overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels.
- You will identify and correct discrepancies on items at the location level.
- You will reconcile all differences promptly to minimize the impact on customer operations.
- Monitor all warehouse and store transfers and other transactions for accuracy.
- Coordinate with Inbound Supervisor to plan daily labor needs to fulfill all defined inventory management responsibilities.
- You will work with Inbound Supervisor to establish goals.
- Oversee the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including measurement of inventory goals in weekly and monthly reports.
Your Skills and Experiences
- High School Degree or Equivalent.
- Prefer previous experience in a warehouse environment, one (1) year in an inventory control role.
- Experience with personal computers and material-handling equipment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
