Many of today's store General Managers started their retail management careers in this type of positionWhat You'll Do as an Assistant ManagerRecruit, train and develop the best associates to drive a high performance team that consistently exceed customer expectationsOversee Inventory management which includes managing relationships with vendorsMaximize store sales with high level of execution of merchandising and marketing programsProficiently executes job responsibilities within the following areas : associate orientation, customer orientation and food presentation / concept execution (ie : daily books, completing CGO counts, completing daily checklist, following food concept program guidelines)Assess store condition and customer service levels and correct issues with limited direction.
Assist in managing controllable cost by being educated on procedures for reducing inventory control, cash control, margin objectives and day-to-day operations expensesResponsible for ensuring personnel / payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and proceduresMotivate and engage the store team to execute store goalsDemonstrate an ability to support a positive work environmentExhibits professionalism in appearance, conduct and judgmentYou'll Be a Great Fit if You PossessThe ability to understand financial and operational dataStrong interpersonal skills including ability to adapt to changeProficient computer skillsThe ability to multi-task while maintaining high detail orientation Professional and approachable appearanceAbility to demonstrate core values;
