A panel fabricator assembles electrical control panels and other electrical components.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities :

• Assembly of electrical control panels to include drilling, mounting, and wiring
• Metal work sawing, cutting, drilling, and tapping to mount devices and components onto cabinet inner panels, and cabinet doors and walls
• Relay and server rack assembly 19

inch and 24 inch rack assembly

• Communication cable and connector termination (RJ11, RJ45, specialty)
• Panel wiring conductor routing, termination, harnessing, and cabling to support 5VDC up to 480VAC.
• Wiring of PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, Industrial Computers, Data concentrators, Controllers, Power Relays and Meters, Cell modems, routers and other control and monitoring components.
• Assist with shipping of equipment and control panels

Minimum Qualifications :

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
• Ability to use power and manual hand tools.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and assembly drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding initiative, a well-organized and strong sense of responsibility
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Possess a strong awareness of current and emerging industry standards, vendors, and technologies as they relate to the consulting engineering industry

Education & Experience :

• High School Diploma.
• Some college or technical school education preferred.
• Work experience in the manufacturing, construction, or engineering industry is an advantage.
• Two plus years of experience preferred.

Pre-Screen :

Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and / or MVR check.

License & Certifications :

Driver's License Preferred, but not required.

Travel :

Little to no travel is expected for this position.

Physical Requirements :

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
