Water Mitigation Technician

Position Type: Full-Time, Entry to Mid-Level

Hourly Pay Range: $21.00-25.00; Negotiable based on certifications and experience.

Schedule: 40 hours a week

Paid Overtime: You can expect overtime opportunities in this position. For all hours worked over 40 a week, you will be paid time and a half.

Paid After Hours Calls: A cell phone reimbursement up to $50.00 will be distributed on the last check of each month. For emergency calls after normal business hours, on weekends or on holidays, you will be paid an incentive on top of hours worked, including overtime. If called, you must be available to act with reasonable time for travel. 

Paid Monthly On-Call: Once a month, you will be scheduled in advance to be on-call for a week, with full use of a company vehicle, including a fuel card. You will be paid an on-call bonus in addition to any hours worked, including overtime. If called, you must be available to act with reasonable time for travel.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform emergency board up, water extraction, water damage mitigation and mold remediation.
• Assist in demolition and prepare areas/rooms for work activities and equipment. 
• Execute fire damage mitigation services efficiently and safely.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing debris.
• Interface compassionately with clients and relay information to the Lead/Project Manager/ Superintendent.
• Assist with functions outside of mitigation (picking up and delivering materials, performing Matterport scans, etc.) depending on job volume.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required. 
• 1-3 years of experience in restoration required.
• Ability to perform in this physically demanding position where you will lift equipment weighing 100 lbs. 
• Must be able to work on ladders and tall areas, in confined and tight areas, as well as perform in extreme heat, humidity, and cold weather
• Possess a sense of urgency and have a strong work ethic.
• IICRC Water Certification preferred, additional certifications such as Fire, Mold, etc. a plus!
