Summary: The Marketing Specialist, through faithful service to accomplish the mission of Kuyper College, is responsible for developing innovative marketing programs for our Advancement and Admissions departments.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Advancement
Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the college’s visibility and reputation
Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, college webite, email campaigns, and print materials
Manage the social media presence, including content creation scheduling and engagement
Collaborate with Admissions, Academic departments, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all marketing materials
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging marketing and higher education technologies
Other duties as assigned
Admissions
Work with Admissions to develop admissions-specific marketing materials, including viewbooks, application guides, acceptance packets, and financial aid information
Collaborate closely with the admissions department to align recruitment efforts with enrollment goals and admissions processes
Provide support and resources to admissions counselors as needed.

Education and/or experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
Able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and web analytics
Ideal candidates will have experience and fluency in the Adobe Suite of products, specifically InDesign, and Illustrator, and knowledge of Canva
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for design and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team and independently
