Pay :
$34,000-$37,500 annually
Education :
- High School Diploma / GEDPlus 1-3 years experience in an entry level Human Resources position or Administrative Assistant in a Human Resources department
- Or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills :
- Working in a fast-paced environment and with confidential information.
- SHRM, PHR or SPHR
- ADP experience
Qualifications :
- Strong customer service
- Excellent time management
- Great oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and email applications
- Valid driver’s license
- Good driving record
Major Duties :
- Provide customer service via phone and in-person interactions
- Communicate with new hires throughout the onboarding process
- Keep HR leaders and managers updated
- Conduct pre-employment background checks and verifications
- Assist with new hire orientation
- Manage I-9 documentation and other required forms
- Maintain accurate employee files and HCM data entry
- Handle monthly DOL reporting and audits
- Respond to employee inquiries on HR policies
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations
