Position Summary: The Supervisor of Intensive In-Home Services provides supervision and consultation to the aftercare team in order to facilitate/maintain safety, permanency and well-being.
Location: Lawrence - This is a hybrid position. However, the person in this position will need to go to the office with staff at least once a week, be available to go out in crisis situations, and able to attend in person meetings when scheduled.
Education: Master’s degree in a field licensable by the BSRB
Experience: Three years’ experience in children and family services Requires Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Outlook email
Licensure/Certification: BSRB Licensure within the state of KS Current Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
Essential Duties:
- Support the development of a safe, family-centered child welfare system in Kansas by overseeing contract services and case management for children and families.
- Responsibilities include coordinating therapy sessions, aftercare, and follow-up services, supervising staff, and ensuring case plans are individualized.
- Monitor documentation quality, train staff on policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Act as an emergency contact, represent the organization in meetings, and collaborate with Human Resources on personnel matters.
- Maintain relationships with community partners and ensure court orders are followed.
- Attend required trainings and ensure staff meet training requirements
