Job Description
Responsibilities
Clinical experience with health & medical care services may include assessing, examination, and treatment. Follow standings orders and perform clinic labs testing as appropriate.
With appropriate training and certification, performs routine surveillance screening/tests, to include but not limited to:
o Treatment & case management of occupational illness & injuries
o Provide general guidance for non-occupational illness & injuries
o Substance Abuse Testing
o Respirator fit tests
o Spirometry
o Audiogram
o Vision screening
o Phlebotomy and collection of other lab specimens
o Performs EKGs (as applicable)
o Administer vaccines as applicable
• Provide case management services for disability and work-related cases.
• Occupational Health Experience preferred but not required
• Work in collaboration with supervising provider and perform tasks as designated
• Collaborate with site EH&S Manager, Area Managers and FLS as needed, communicate effectively
• Provide after-hours clinic support
• Provide preventative health, wellness, and Employee Assistance Program guidance and support.
• Support training initiatives as they relate to Site Emergency Response Teams and health & wellness initiatives
Qualifications
Under the general direction of the Regional Health Services Leader and Global Health Services Director within the general framework of the Health Services Operating Discipline and Clinical Guidelines, provide clinical care services, case management, health assessment program management and services, and general preventive health services for *** employees and specified contractor employees.
Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license for New Jersey & BLS certification
Knowledge and proficiency with EMRs (Electronic Medical Records)
Proficient at Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
Active certification for hearing conservation, or willing to obtain
NIOSH spirometry and breath alcohol technician or willing to obtain
General understanding of occupational health nursing
