Restaurant Cook
Are you an experienced prep cook who works well in a challenging, fast-paced business among a friendly team of people? Look no further! Join IHOP, a well-known family dining restaurant with over 65 years of operating experience. From day one, you'll embark on an enriching training program, familiarizing yourself with our policies and cooking procedures, and acquiring the skills needed to deliver the exceptional food and dining experience our guests expect.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure excellent and consistent preparation and cooking of all menu items following operating policies, procedures, and food health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and plate food according to Company recipes.
• Set up, clean, and sanitize the workstation before, during, and after the shift.
• Verify the stock of all required ingredients and supplies.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning lists.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly food preparation lists.

Qualifications:
• Ability to learn and apply galley terminology and procedures.
• Reading skills to complete online and on-the-job training.
• Ability to memorize recipes and plating techniques.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
