Project Coordinator – Huntsville, AL
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. This role will provide essential administrative support while also assisting with project coordination and management to our Huntsville, AL operations. This position reports directly to the Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between on-site employees and remote team members for the Program Manager
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting local corporate activities
- Support the Program Manager and coordinate project tasks and deadlines
- Track project progress and identify potential issues for the program manager
- Prepare project reports and updates
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail
- Prepare and maintain various documents, such as reports, presentations, and meeting minutes
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation
- Maintain office supplies and equipment
- Serve as a point of contact for local employees
- Address employee questions, concerns, and requests when immediate supervisor is unavailable
- Coordinate on-site corporate activities and logistics, such as meetings, training sessions, and events
- Other Duties:
- Provide general administrative support as needed
- Assist with special projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Secret Clearance to support contract work and access to government facilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to include SharePoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills since this position is partially Work From Home (WFH)
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of the Department of Defense or other Federal Agency experience is highly desirable.
This position is Hybrid WFH 75% of the time. Employees are encouraged to be on-site during peak times and month end reporting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
