The manager of Business Development Marketing is a key member of the SkinCeuticals US marketing team with a focus on the brand’s latest retail concept, SkinCeuticals SkinLab.

This role will lead all marketing initiatives for SkinCeuticals SkinLabs, and work closely with the Director of Retail & Business Development Marketing and VP of SkinLab Business Development to develop and execute marketing plans to grow and scale the SkinLab concept and customers through a range of strategic priorities and liaises closely with cross-functional teams including: brand marketing, sales, digital/e-commerce teams, retail team, PR/social, medical affairs, education and training to accomplish the program objectives. S/he will manage the marketing strategy for the Skinceuticals SkinLab program. S/he is responsible for the development and implementation of monthly 360 marketing plans both online and offline which corresponds to the goal of the physician partner, along with the marketing panier including new product launches, and overall program growth. This role is a hybrid of marketing and sales, requiring you to work closely with the business development sales team building relationships with doctors and support staff to develop and launch SkinLab locations, marketing initiatives, events, and product launches to drive the overall success of the business. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter possessing a high level of energy, an entrepreneurial spirit, and demonstrated problem solving abilities. Existing skincare knowledge and retail experience or a high level of interest in this métier is key to success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
MARKETING
- Develop and implement a 360-marketing strategy to build, launch, and sustain the SkinLab retail program.
- Develop exclusive SkinLab marketing plans for new product launches and animations
- Launch and maintain eCommerce drivers and implement full year support strategy
- Create sales driving marketing assets exclusive to the SkinLab partners
- National and regional new patient acquisition campaigns for SkinLabs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including education/training, brand marketing, digital, eCommerce, social media, and sales to develop an exclusive SkinLab plan
- Create new product strategies, including positioning, advertising, and merchandising
- Develop and implement a long-term growth and promotional strategy through marketing, digital, media, .com, PR, social media, and event planning
RETAIL
- Develop SkinCeuticals SkinLab™ concept, design, consumer insights, and business plan – on average 6-10 per year
- Manage opening of SkinLab™ locations including but not limited to real estate, space inquiry, build out, PnL, launch plan and event
- Develop SkinLab retail strategy, planogram, and merchandising materials, in line with the overall brand retail vision.
BUDGET/SALES MANAGEMENT
- In partnership with Director responsible for sales forecasting and promotional strategy both online and offline for all SkinLabs
- In partnership with Director, evaluate SkinLab business launch & growth through the analysis of sales patterns and treatment purchases
- In partnership with Director, manage A&P/CAPEX budget and P&L for SkinCeuticals SkinLab™ program
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Collaborate closely with marketing team, business development team and field sales leadership team
- Collaborate and build relationships with SkinLab doctors and support staff
- Based on role scope, potential for intern management is possible

Salary Range: $98200-$137500 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
